All the details entwine my dreams
Flecks of colour round my head as I drift off to sleep

Step back take a look at it
Result of the internal journey
I drew myself with a circular head
Lemon skin contented expression

After some thought I added a sun
Glow overhead it will make sense
Draw on wings like the early bird I am

I’m down to stumps but I’m trying
Uncertainty stops you from flying
Who said drawing pictures was easy?
